About Conrico Steez

Born and bred in Bristol, Conrico Steez is a muralist, signwriter and illustrator based in Easton.

He graduated in 2017 with a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of the West of England, Bristol.

Fascinated by letterforms, illustration and street art from an early age, Conrico knew the creative path he wanted to pursue and dedicated himself to developing his own distinctive visual language.

His work brings together influences from graffiti, traditional signwriting, character illustration and street culture, resulting in a recognisable style packed with personality. Whether working on a large-scale mural, signage or an original piece like The Apathetic Monk, that hand-drawn quality remains at the heart of his work.

And when he isn't painting? There's a good chance he's doodling in a sketchbook, or on whatever surface happens to be nearby.
