A striking one-off original by Bristol artist Signs, capturing the raw character of Turbo Island in Stokes Croft, Bristol, with a lone skater cutting through the scene.

Turbo Island Skater celebrates a very different side of Bristol. Rather than the city’s traditional landmarks, Signs focuses on one of its most notorious urban spaces, surrounded by graffiti, independent culture and the unmistakable character of Stokes Croft.

Created using spray paint and hand-cut stencil techniques, the monochrome black and white palette gives the work the appearance of something sprayed directly onto a city wall. The skater in the foreground adds movement and attitude, while the detailed urban backdrop firmly places the piece within Bristol’s street culture.

At A2 size, this is a substantial original with real wall presence. Supplied unframed, allowing the new owner to choose a frame that suits their space.
