Bristol artist Werm takes a battered street-found sign and completely transforms it with his distinctive graffiti lettering. Rather than hiding the marks, scratches and history of the original surface, they remain part of the artwork, giving the piece an authenticity that a clean canvas simply can't replicate.

The intricate central lettering combines orange, lilac, mint green, black and white, with sharp outlines, overlapping forms and hand-finished highlights creating real depth. Star-like flashes across the lettering add another layer of detail when viewed up close.

Created using spray paint and paint pens, this is a genuine crossover between graffiti and collectible contemporary art.
