About Morf Brooks

Born in 1975, Morf Brooks originally studied graphic design before moving to Amsterdam, where he gained a Master’s degree in furniture making and design.

As an artist, however, Morf is largely self-taught. Through experimentation and a willingness to try just about anything, he has developed an incredibly varied body of work, ranging from cold-cast bronze figurines sold to collectors around the world to his distinctive Foam Monkey masks, original artworks and hand-cut stencil work.

His creativity isn't confined to the studio either. Morf also takes his stencil work onto the streets, bringing his characters and ideas into the urban environment.

Despite his work reaching collectors around the world, the person behind Morf Brooks remains deliberately anonymous.

So anonymous, in fact, that not even his wife knows he's Morf Brooks.

And occasionally, he forgets himself.
