Darkly playful and instantly recognisable, Charlie Brown by Baransky takes an icon of popular culture and reworks it through the raw visual language of contemporary street art.
The familiar orange shirt and distinctive zig-zag remain, while the character is transformed through Baransky’s darker stencil-led aesthetic. Set against a distressed, concrete-like background, layers of spray paint, splatter and weathered texture give the work the character of an image discovered directly on an urban wall.
