7Clauds – Round 1 Original

7Clauds – Round 1

Unique Original Paint Pen Artwork on Deep Box Canvas | 1/1 | 50 × 50cm

A mesmerising original artwork by Bristol graffiti and lettering artist 7Clauds, Round 1 is a striking exploration of calligraffiti, geometric precision and optical illusion.

Created on a 50 × 50cm deep box canvas, this beautifully detailed composition transforms traditional graffiti lettering into an intricate circular design that appears to draw the viewer into its centre.

Against a dramatic black background, bold white lettering forms the outer ring, surrounding layers of rich purple and vibrant green typography. Each carefully constructed letter interlocks with the next, creating an extraordinary sense of depth, movement and perspective.

The artwork's circular formation resembles a tunnel or vortex, with the lettering becoming progressively smaller towards the centre. The result is an almost hypnotic visual effect that rewards closer inspection.

What makes Round 1 particularly impressive is the balance between traditional graffiti culture and meticulous artistic control. The bold, expressive letterforms retain the unmistakable character of street art while forming a precise, almost architectural composition.

The contrasting colours and repeated lettering create a powerful three-dimensional illusion, transforming a flat canvas into something that appears to extend far beyond its surface.

A unique, one-off original artwork, Round 1 is a fantastic example of 7Clauds' distinctive approach to contemporary graffiti and abstract typography.

Presented on a deep box canvas measuring 50 × 50cm, this original is an excellent statement piece for collectors of Bristol street art, calligraffiti and contemporary urban artwork.

About the Artist | 7Clauds

7Clauds, also stylised as 7CL4UDS, is a contemporary graffiti and lettering artist associated with Bristol's vibrant urban art community.

Working with intricate letterforms, geometric compositions and expressive colour combinations, 7Clauds explores the relationship between traditional graffiti writing, calligraphy and contemporary abstraction.

The artist's distinctive approach draws on calligraffiti, combining the expressive character of graffiti lettering with the precision and flowing movement of calligraphy.

Rather than simply presenting lettering as words to be read, 7Clauds transforms it into complex visual structures, using repetition, layering and carefully balanced colour to create striking patterns and optical effects.

Circular formations are a particularly distinctive feature of the artist's work, with tightly interwoven letterforms creating the illusion of depth and movement.

7Clauds has been involved in Bristol's creative art scene, including participation in Upfest's 2026 artist programme and exhibitions at Circular ArtSpace.

Through a combination of traditional graffiti influences and meticulous contemporary techniques, 7Clauds continues to explore the possibilities of lettering as an independent art form.
